This has got to be one of my favorite engagement sessions and for some reason I have not blogged it. Why Leah? Why?!
Needless to say, I am giddy sharing it now. Their wedding day has come and gone (that will be shared as well!) and it was a most beautiful day. When we went to take these photographs for their engagement shoot, I remember them talking excitedly about the details they were planning and the work they were putting in to their wedding day, one that reflected their personalities and their relationship. I must say that they did just that.
The shoot took place at the historical grounds in Fort Saskatchewan. Ladies and gentlemen, this location was a photographic jackpot. Literally, we could not go wrong here. There are beautiful historical structures, open space and romantic nooks and crannies. Combine that with two gorgeous humans and perfect light and BAM! You have something amazing! And because of that I may have kept them well past the time I thought it was. What can I say? I got a little obsessive. My bad.
Their love story began at Trinity Christian Reformed Church at a newcomer's lunch where Jacqueline spotted Will. Being a girl who knows what she wants, she asked a friend about him and that same friend set them up! A while later, Will proposed to Jacqueline on a family skiing trip in Panorama. She said she had no idea while the rest of the family was in on plan!
I loved this session and I hope that you can just imagine the fun we had together, the magic of the location and the sincerity of their relationship. It really was so memorable for me.
